• Three core metrics tracked — The dashboard monitors three returns performance metrics, including a metric for return approvals taking longer than 24 hours, a return dissatisfaction rate, and a return resolution metric.
• No enforcement actions yet — Amazon has confirmed that currently there are no enforcement actions tied to missing the metric thresholds. However, sellers should not treat this as permanent, as Amazon frequently moves from monitoring to enforcement.
• Smoothing formula protects low-volume sellers — Amazon uses a statistical smoothing formula so that sellers with few returns are not disproportionately penalized by a single mistake.
