Amazon now allows US-based sellers to purchase international shipping labels directly through the Buy Shipping platform on Seller Central. This service enables sellers to fulfill orders from a US address and ship to customers across the United Kingdom, European Union member states, and other supported destinations using the ECMS carrier. Key Points / What Sellers Need to Know

• ECMS is the designated carrier — Currently, ECMS is the only carrier available through Buy Shipping for international fulfillment from the US. Sellers must create an ECMS account before using this service, and activation can take up to two business days after registration.

• Value thresholds apply — The program only covers items below the Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) threshold, which is €150 for EU destinations and £135 for UK shipments. Orders exceeding these amounts must be shipped through alternative channels.

• Duties must be prepaid — Amazon's policy requires that international customers never have to pay duties upon delivery. Products that would require the buyer to cover duties at receipt are automatically filtered out of the program.

• Labels are valid for 14 days — Once a shipping label is purchased, it remains active for up to 14 days from the shipping date. Sellers should plan their logistics accordingly.

• Two purchasing methods available — Labels can be bought either through the Seller Central order interface or programmatically via the SP-API for sellers with automated workflows.
