Sellers using partnered carriers must generate, print, and properly apply these labels before their shipments can be picked up. • Pallet labels are mandatory for partnered carrier shipments — Every pallet shipped through an Amazon partnered carrier must carry a pallet label containing shipment verification data used by the fulfillment center upon arrival.
• Four copies per pallet are generated automatically — Amazon generates multiple copies of each label so sellers can apply one to each side of the pallet for maximum visibility.
• FBA box ID labels are still required — Even when shipping on pallets, every individual box must carry its own FBA box ID label, which is printed separately in step 3 of the workflow.
• A Bill of Lading is provided for partnered carriers — The BOL is generated on the morning of the scheduled pickup date and must be presented to the carrier, or the shipment will be refused.
• Amazon LTL shipments require additional carrier pallet ID labels — Sellers using Amazon's LTL shipping program must apply a unique set of four carrier-specific pallet ID labels alongside the standard FBA pallet labels.

How the Labeling Process Works

Pallet label printing takes place in step 5 of the Send to Amazon workflow, after sellers have confirmed their pallet configurations and accepted shipping cost estimates in step 4. To generate labels, sellers select their pallet label type under the "Pallet labels and documentation" section and click the print button. Once labels are generated, the shipment status changes to "Ready to ship," indicating that the pallets are cleared for pickup. The entire process is designed to be straightforward, but sellers should ensure they complete all prior steps accurately, as label generation depends on correct pallet configuration data.
