• Use the BOIP database directly - Amazon requires you to pull trademark details from the official Benelux Office for Intellectual Property website, not from third-party trademark databases or your own records.
• Trademark name must match exactly - The brand name you enter in your Brand Registry application must be an exact character-for-character match with what appears in the BOIP record under "Mark" or "Name of the mark."
• WIPO numbers are not accepted - If your trademark was issued through the World Intellectual Property Organization, you must still use the BOIP-assigned number rather than your WIPO number in the application.
• Only registered and pending trademarks qualify - Amazon accepts Benelux trademarks that are either fully registered or pending registration. Other statuses are currently ineligible.
• Both word marks and design marks are eligible - Text-based trademarks and image-based trademarks can both be used for initial Brand Registry enrollment.
