Amazon provides a bulk order cancellation tool that allows Professional sellers to cancel several orders simultaneously using a downloadable template file. Rather than canceling orders one by one through Seller Central, this workflow lets you prepare a single tab-delimited file containing all the orders you wish to cancel and upload it in one batch. This is particularly useful during peak periods or when operational issues require canceling a large number of orders quickly.

• Professional selling plan required — The bulk order cancellation template is only available to sellers on a Professional selling plan. Individual sellers must cancel orders one at a time through the Manage Orders tool.

How the Process Works

The bulk cancellation process begins with downloading the Order Cancellation Template from Seller Central. The template contains multiple tabs, including an instructions tab and a Cancellation tab where you enter your order details. After filling in the required cancellation information on the Cancellation tab, you must save the file in a specific format: tab-delimited text. When saving, Excel may display warnings about losing features or multiple worksheets — this is expected and you should proceed through these prompts. The key requirement is that your final file is a plain .txt file with tab-separated values.
