How the UPS Routing Works

1. Label generation in Send‑to‑Amazon — A seller creates a shipping plan for VGT2, selects UPS as the carrier, and prints the label from Seller Central. The platform automatically swaps the Nevada address for the California UPS hub address, so the package first travels to the UPS facility in Riverside County. Example: Jane’s “EcoGear” brand prints a UPS label and sees “20701 Riverside Ave, CA 92518” on the label, even though her inventory is destined for Nevada.
2. Independent UPS booking — A seller logs into their UPS account, schedules a pickup, and manually inputs the routing address. The UPS network then moves the parcel to the Riverside hub, where UPS hands it off to Amazon’s internal freight team for final delivery to VGT2.
