How the Shipping Routes Work

1. Send to DTM8 — The seller books a pickup with DPD or another approved carrier and delivers the pallet or parcel to the DTM8 hub in Europe. For example, a French seller can have a 20‑pallet shipment arrive at DTM8 on a Monday morning.
2. Amazon consolidates — At DTM8, Amazon groups incoming EU shipments destined for the UK, performs any required labeling or repacking, and prepares a consolidated load for the outbound leg. A German seller’s mixed‑SKU pallet might be merged with other sellers’ pallets heading to the same UK fulfilment centre.
3. Free UK onward transport — Amazon moves the consolidated load to the selected UK fulfilment centre at no additional freight charge. In practice, the same German pallet arrives at the UK warehouse on the following Tuesday without the seller incurring a separate UK freight invoice.
