How the Transition Works

2. Secure a written appointment — Obtain a formal agreement that grants the appointed party authority to represent the seller with market‑surveillance authorities; this may involve a contract specifying the scope for toys and electronics.
3. Enter details in Seller Central — Log into the compliance dashboard, select the affected brand, and input the Responsible Person’s name, address, VAT ID, and contact email; repeat for every CE‑marked SKU.
4. Validate the information — Use Amazon’s “Test submission” feature to confirm that the entered data meets the platform’s format requirements; an error message will indicate missing fields such as the EU registration number.
